The Incubator Creative Hub and the Artery Art Learning Space are following all the Ministry of Health advice and guidelines about COVID-19. We are passionate about the importance of art in connecting people, especially in these times so even though we will not be holding classes or workshops in the artery over the next few months we will however be keeping in touch through social media.  We are rescheduling all workshops until later in the year and will be in touch with you all again once everything is back on track .  PLEASE NOTE THESE DATES WILL NEED TO BE CONFIRMED WHEN EVERYTHING IS STABLE AGAIN.  We are looking forward to the day we are given the all clear and can connect face to face and person to person again.  Keep the creative juices flowing, make, create, love, laugh, make gifts and BE KIND.

Introduction to Alcohol inks

with Marion Aitken

Sorry This Workshop is SOLD OUT

Alcohol ink is a fascinating medium that literally has a mind of its own. This class is designed particularly for beginners who have never used alcohol inks before. The inks have a versatility and vibrancy that when blended with pure isopropyl alcohol, create movement and beautiful abstract designs. With the addition of gold enhancements these make visually attractive pieces of art even for beginners.  A full one-day course that will enable students to produce a finished abstract artwork ready to hang on the wall. In addition, students will also learn how to use the alcohol inks on other objects such as planters, cannisters, infusers. Each student will have a choice of two other items to decorate and take home
