Bound/Unbound an Exhibition by Janice Giles
Bound/Unbound explores the beliefs and constraints that bind us and whether, or not, unbinding is required. In keeping with this theme, Janice has chosen to use only those resources she already had available.

About the event
Janice Giles enjoys experimentation and works with many media, including forms of printmaking, encaustics, acrylics and whatever else is needed to achieve expression of an ever-developing style. Janice has participated in numerous group exhibitions and produced four successful solo shows. She has sold internationally, been a finalist in the Molly Morpeth Canaday Awards, the Rotorua Museum Art Awards, The Venetta Miles Awards (twice), and received the Tauranga Society of Artists Supreme Annual Art Award, runner up to the Tauranga Society’s Supreme Award, and several merit awards. She likes cats, gardening, and looking at other people’s art.
Opening preview Friday 15th March 2024, 5.30pm to 7.00pm in the Incubator lounge. Everyone welcome.
On display in The Incubator Gallery from the 16th of March to the 6th April 2024. Open 10am -3pm Monday to Saturday.
