The Incubator Creative Hub operates as a multifaceted arts organisation with several interconnected streams of activity. Alongside our venues, events facilitation, and creative education programmes, the Artist in Residence Programme stands as a foundational pillar—the living, breathing heart of our presence within the Historic Village. Our resident artists are the lifeblood of The Incubator Creative Hub - a thriving collective of professional makers across painting, sculpture, ceramics, toi māori, textiles and digital media. More than just studio spaces, we've built an ecosystem where art is both passion and trade.

In our unique character studios, emerging and established artists work side-by-side, developing sustainable creative careers. Visitors don't just see finished works - they witness the creative process in action.

This is where artists become tradespeople, where hobbyists grow into professionals. Through shared workspaces, mentorship opportunities and customer access, we're breaking down barriers between making art and making a living.
