About the event
Join us for a powerful and poignant evening as we launch four incredible exhibitions. This is more than usual ,it’s a gathering of our communities, held with deep aroha for all those affected by the recent landslides and as we near the 3rd anniversary of Cyclone Gabrielle.
With manaakitanga we will be extending care, sharing stories, and finding strength together through creativity. It’s a chance to support intercommunity healing.

THE EXHIBITIONS:
ALLUVION (Pothouse Gallery)
Experience the profound ceramic works of Hawke’s Bay masters John Gibson & Morag Shaw. Their lives and studios were shattered by Cyclone Gabrielle. This exhibition charts their journey from survival to breathtaking new creations—a raw meditation on loss and rebirth. In a beautiful act of solidarity, both artists are donating major works to be sold, with ALL proceeds going to the Acorn Foundation's landslide victim fund.
