Now in its third year, Pāpāmoa College’ Hononga exhibition will be showcasing it’s students creative voices through art, performance, and design.

About the event
This year's theme is ‘My Matariki Connections’ Guided by the school’s pou values, Toitū te Whenua, Toitū te Moana, Toitū te Tangata, and Toitū te Tiriti students share stories of identity, memory, and aspiration through mixed media and live performance that reflect their connection to the land, the ocean and rivers and people.
Students can create original works of art, sculpture, photography, design, and performance that reflect their connections to land, sea and people. From personal narratives to ancestral honouring, each piece is a reflection of the student’s unique story – a connection to the past, a grounding in the present, and a vision for the future.
Exhibition opening preview sponsored by New World Gate Pa, Saturday the 14th of June 2025 at 10am. Refreshments will be available. Everyone welcome.
On display in The Peoples Gallery - Toi Ka Rere from 15th of June to 12th July, 10am-3pm.
