Kaupapa Maori Documentary shorts presented by Loading Docs

Loading Docs is a unique initiative that produces short documentaries that move, inspire and challenge audiences locally and internationally, while developing and promoting New Zealand filmmaking talent at home. Watched by over 17.8 million people, with many of their documentary shorts been selected for film festivals such as DOC NYC, SXSW, Sheffield Doc/Fest, Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival, ImagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts, Boston International Film Festival, New Zealand International Film Festival, Show Me Shorts, Out Takes, Melbourne Documentary Film Festival and FIFO. For our Matariki Programme we will be screening a curated selection of kaupapa Māori documentary shorts from Loading Docs, celebrating the diversity of Māori documentary film making in Aotearoa. This is a free entry event but bookings are essential.
