About the event
This series is an in depth look at how to successfully paint and/or draw a portrait to get a good likeness. Covering traditional picture making techniques as well as contemporary approaches and ideas.
Pencil, Paint & Portraits With Damien Kurth Tuesday evenings
5th - 26th May 6 - 8.30pm $200
All skill levels welcome. All basic materials supplied. Discussion around materials will be part of the course. There will be at least one opportunity to draw and/or paint with a live model.
Damien is a longstanding and highly regarded collaborator of The Incubator. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Otago Polytechnic and Master of Fine Arts from Elam School of Fine Arts.
