About the event
Ryland Moranz has come into his own in these strange times. A folk/bluegrass multi instrumentalist and singer-songwriter from Alberta, Canada, Ryland has stepped into the great beyond, empathetically exploring his own stories and the stories of others. His compositions span bygone days, the here and now, and what may yet be to come, both for himself and for us all. Ryland’s anticipated forthcoming album, “Better/Worse” will be released with Tonic Records on November 15th, 2024. For those who seek the resonance of the marrow of existence, Better/Worse dreams of a beacon of hope and harmony in a world that yearns for the echoes of its own wilderness. Ryland’s 2021 album, “XO 1945” was nominated for contemporary album of the year by the Canadian Folk Music Association. Ever the wanderer, Ryland has relentlessly toured Canada, the USA, UK, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand.
