About the event
School of Rock is a classic 2003 comedy directed by Richard Linklater and starring Jack Black in the lead role as struggling rock guitarist Dewey Finn. When Dewey is fired from his band, he subsequently poses as a substitute teacher at a prestigious school. After realising the musical talent of the students in his class, Dewey forms a band of fourth-graders to attempt to win the upcoming Battle of the Bands and use his winnings to pay his rent.
