About the event
A local open artists call out has resulted in a show presenting each artists own unique creative interpretation of the bard, his plays, sonnets, or the Elizabethan age. With all mediums from painting to sculpture reflecting each artists views from bizarre to conventional, uncontrolled to subtle, you are guaranteed an Exhibition not to be missed.
This open exhibition runs concurrently with the Shakespeare Festival, held in The Historic Village, Tauranga. The group running the Shakespeare Festival (CRAFT) after performing successful shows for the last two years, wants to expand the theme to include the visual arts.
If you want to exhibit in this exhibition it is still open for submissions and delivery of artwork until 8th April. Please contact the convener: Ann Dugmore 027 410 2074, or eanndugmore@yahoo.co.uk.
