About the event
Through this exhibition we can pass the mātauranga of this medium to our mokopuna.
Facilitated by Rhian Smith - toirhi and Hayley Smith - whaeawhenua, this will enable our kaiako to showcase not only their amazing capabilities as artists but also some of the stunning colours that represent our rohe/area that is Tauranga Moana - while filling their kete using taiao as a medium for mahitoi and art for our Moko.
Made possible to facilitate and deliver with assistance from Creative Bay of Plenty - Te Waka Auaha Toi and curator of local toi māori Okorore- Ngā Toi Māori Gallery & Studios. Creative Spaces were made possible with assistance from The Creative Community Campus.
