About the Artist....

Ninette Kruger is a passionate pewter artist with roots in South Africa and a heart that beats for metal embossing. Born and raised amidst the vibrant culture of South Africa, Ninette's journey into the world of pewter began after being inspired by her grandmother’s pewter creations. Since 2004, she has immersed herself in this ancient art form, honing her skills and nurturing her creative spirit.

In 2014, Ninette took her love for pewter to the next level by sharing her expertise through metal embossing and pewter workshops. Her journey took an exciting turn in 2016 when she, along with her family, embarked on a new adventure in New Zealand. It was in this picturesque setting that Ninette embraced her true calling, becoming a full-time professional pewter artist in 2020.

Ninette's work is a testament to her deep connection with nature. Drawing inspiration from the beauty that surrounds her, she crafts highly detailed botanical and ocean-inspired wall art that fills homes with its unique allure. Her creations have not only caught the eye of admirers locally but have also been celebrated in interior design magazines both in her new home and abroad.

Ninette's art has found a global following, with international collectors drawn to the craftsmanship that defines her pieces. However, her passion extends beyond her studio; she is passionate about sharing the secrets of this incredible art form with individuals of all ages. Ninette's teaching style is characterized by its accessibility, making complex techniques easy to grasp, and her enthusiasm for sharing knowledge is infectious.
