About the event
Based on the novel by Roald Dahl, WILLY WONKA & the CHOCOLATE FACTORY is a 1971 musical fantasy film classic. Starring Gene Wilder as the mysterious candymaker Willy Wonka, the film tells the story of young Charlie Bucket who, upon finding the last Golden Ticket in a chocolate bar, wins the chance to visit Willy Wonka's chocolate factory along with four other children from around the world.
