Join the New Zealand Antarctic Society for an evening of Antarctica with a captivating selection of short films straight from the icy wilderness of Antarctica.
Before the films, hear from Peter Otway, speaking on Dogsledding on long survey missions. Peter will share what it took to travel and work across Antarctica by dog team on extended survey journeys — the rhythm of life on the trail, the teamwork between people and dogs, and the realities of covering vast distances in some of the toughest conditions on Earth.
