As a trustee you will be part of a team responsible for the effective governance of the Incubator Creative Hub, helping to drive the thorough development plans and support the powerhouse that is our operational team.
This is interactive and volunteer position with a modest meeting stipend.
The role will see you attend board meetings, represent at events, be involved in projects such as strategy, funding options, building sponsorship networks and connecting to your networks to support the ongoing work and growth of the Incubator Creative Hub.
The Incubator Creative Hub is a one of a kind organisation with a unique non hierarchical kaupapa that has nurtured an unprecedented organisation where relationships are valued throughout.

The Incubator Creative Hub Board of Trustees - Position description
Reports to: Chair of the Board
Responsible for: Effective governance and support of the organisation
Attributes:

A passion for the Arts and an understanding of how arts and culture contribute to communities, especially from a grassroots perspective.

Have great relationships and networks in the wider business and/or art and culture and/or local/central govt entities.

Understanding or experience of not for profit governance.

Ability to work collaboratively and for the interest of The Incubator Creative Hub

Understanding of local government environment and public accountability

Effective communication skills and negotiation skills

A supportive can-do attitude to get stuff done

A sense of humour and easy going personality.
The Incubator Creative Hub is a Charitable Trust.
Board meetings are monthly or bimonthly on the last Friday 12-1.30 pm at the Incubator in the Historic Village.
