About the event
It explores a process of deconstruction to reconstruct a new and unexpected resolution and meaning. What pulls this body of work together is the use of second-hand cotton sheets, colour, stitches and the found object. Sometimes playful, sometimes earnest, and all together eclectic.
This exhibition is an exploration of ideas around new and challenging world circumstances through mediums including but not exclusive to fabric, paint and dye technics, embroidery and found objects.
Kaye graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Creative Industries in Visual Art. She has continued to refine and develop my practice through engagement and collaboration within my local artist community and have been exhibited internationally and at home.
